Ontario Students

Welcome to the Ontario/Rhône-Alpes Student Exchange Program!

As an exchange student, you are expected to engage in full-time, NON-DEGREE, study at your host university for a maximum of one academic year. You are responsible for all aspects of your participation in the Program, including, but not limited to, your health, safety, lodging, course selection, study program, travel plans, legal status and financial obligations. For further, more detailed information about the exchange, study and life in Rhône-Alpes, please review the  Ontario Student Handbook below. You are encouraged to read the Handbook thoroughly as it provides necessary information.

In order to assist you in preparing for your exchange adventure, a pre-departure Orientation Worshop will be held in Toronto in May. Details of the workshop will be available in the very near future. This activity is an opportunity to meet again your fellow Canadian students. Attendance at this workshop is not mandatory but all participants are encouraged to attend.

You are also invited to attend an Incoming Student Orientation Workshop in Lyon in September. Details of the workshop will be available in the near future. This activity is an opportunity to meet again your fellow Canadian students. Attendance at this workshop is not mandatory but all participants are encouraged to attend.

Remember, you will be seen as a representative of your home university, the ORA Program as a whole, and Canada. We hope that you enjoy your exchange.
